Our Lighthouse Blend produces a lovely, vibrant light-medium roast cup that is sure to get you going in the morning. This three-bean blend features coffees from Bali, Brazil, and El Salvador and offers subtle tastes of vanilla, graham cracker, and lemon. 
 
Background Information
Coffee beans are sometimes blended to try and cover up the flaws of inferior beans. That is not the case here at River Blend! Our specialty grade, single origin beans are blended to enhance and compliment the best flavors of each bean in the blend. Our blends take time and effort to be developed, it is not as simple as tossing some beans together and roasting them in one batch. We have a five-step system that we use to create all of our blends before we are ready to present them to you. First, we individually roast a sample of each bean to ensure its at peak flavor. Second, we prepare a cupping with our fresh roasted samples, during the cupping we take small measured amounts of each prepared coffee and blend them together until we find a combination we really like. Step three, we individually roast a full size batch of each bean in our potential new blend and then blend them according to our predetermined ratio. Fourth, we try the blend in various preparation methods, drip, cold brew, french press… Fifth and final step, we share our perfect new blend with you!
